When we walked on thin air

Published in 2022 (Morocco), English, 80 pages, ISBN 978-9920-40-244-6, Edition of 100.

«When we walked on air» is a photobook I started during the lockdown.
It encompasses pictures from 2016 to 2022.
It aims to show the entwined brutality, fragility, absurdity and entrapment, as well as the hovering beauty of the decaying capitalist world we live in.
I wanted to document an emotional state rather than facts.
Where I grew up, we believed in the Western Dream of Progress.
It’s not sustainable, yet we keep reproducing it, so colonized it seems impossible to come out of it, like a bad dream.

This book is my wake-up call.

Contents
a poem in introduction
a photographic wandering
a poster with another poem and a picture printed in risograph inserted in the book
