How Everything Is Kitsch And Egypt Will Lead the Way
Published in 2020, English, 26 Pages.
Discusses the current aesthetic in Egypt that is produced naturally by either the suffering class (lower class) or people with high individuality. This aesthetic is called "Kitsch" which is exactly what is today's global aesthetic (paper discuss and showcases how this has happened). I then illustrate how by having the upper class join forces with the lower one or individualistic people could we start having a global influence and true economic pillar in the region. Not appreciating the genuine culture aesthetic that the masses produce will lead to major decultration which is happening right now (shoot illustrates that by showing how traditional Egyptian aesthetic is being replaced by "high end" logos like Fendi and Chanel)
