Narratives of the City

Published in 2023 (Egypt), English, 4 Pages, edition of 500.

“Narratives of the City” is an ode to the many layers and narratives of the city. The classic definition of a city would be a physical space that is governed, and inhabited by people. However, the matter is more intricate. The city is inhabited by narratives that render it both a subject and an actor, both passive and active. If the city is an actor, are we alike? Do we avail ourselves of the colors of the city? Are we supposed to? Am I part of its narrative? Or am I changing it? Am I both? Or am I none?
